Now You might think that to be an overstatement. Maybe too farfetched? But think about it. Cocaine became fashionable at the end of the seventies beginning of the eighties. And although it was largely introduced as a tool to divide black fractions of Afro-Americans by the CIA ( And to generate black money for their Special-Ops) in the beginning of the sixties, when it reached peak usage, it was quite a few lawyers, CEO’s of finance, Wallstreet, Banking, Politicians and such that got caught by this drug use. After the prohibition of alcohol, ’that played a major role in the creation of the American mafia or mobster gangs’, the war on drugs has cost our respective democratic societies way more than the millions spend on useless law-enforcement. It increased inequality, criminalized the working-classes and undermined democratic processes left & right without ever having any positive results.
What it also did was creating an ever increasing mental-health issue in our societies. Now we all know that in every group or collective of people, there are bound to be a few people that lack empathy for others or are even psychotic narcissists. It is my theory that the widespread use of cocaine increased that percentage of nasty greedy and/or corrupted individuals within our societies tenfold. So, in normal circumstances there would be always one or two individuals on every thousand that lacked humanity. However, the widespread use and mental side-effects of cocaine could have increased that number to ten or twenty individuals per thousand. Or even one hundred.
Now, if these addiction percentages are also more frequent amongst people in Politics, Justice, Media, Marketing and Finance, than that could explain why especially in the Western-World, capitalist greed has undermined our democratic systems increasing corruption and the rate in which we polluted our environment.
The war-on-drugs has so far only created a market for criminals and security-industry, it has not solved anything. If anything, it probably propagated it. It has fueled not only addiction and poverty, but has also been great for the black-markets, money-laundering and arms-industry. What a good way for our societies to keep feeding the Devil?!
So, in many ways I do believe that cocaine has played a large part in undermining and eroding our societies and Liberty itself. The way in which the drug affects our mental wellbeing is also not to be neglected. It creates egocentrism, kills dynamics and drives us apart. It certainly not, ‘like some other drugs do’, helps us solve mental issues nor does it increase our creative output. It is an absolute stupid useless drug amongst all drugs.
It will take generations to rid our collective of the mental and environmental remnants of this stupid period in our human collective. We need to see this particular drug for what it is, a stupid drug that made smart people do dumb shit! Trinityroy 2022
